Tell us about your business:
I am a Virtual Executive Assistant and Community Mentor. However, alongside this I also have a personal blog dedicated to sharing our experience as a Defence family called Boots Back Home. I am building a business directory supporting spouses and Veterans in business, and creating a podcast called “What to Expect When They’re Enlisting”. These platforms are committed to supporting members of the ADF and their families. My mission is to ease the challenges experienced and share the opportunities by providing resources and a supportive community network to spouses and families.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
$10,000 would completely transform my business and ability to reach spouses and families sooner. It would allow me to engage the services and support I need to build the directory and establish branding for both the website and podcast. This would make it more attractive for advertisers to invest, therefore increase profitability. The increase in profits will then be invested in creating additional support services such as introduction/welcome webinars and employment expos.
