Tell us about your business:
I am a gut microbiome scientist and absolutely love what I do! I am passionate about bridging the gap between research and the real world. I want to empower people (especially women) to understand how their body works which builds self respect and leads to a happier healthier life. I do this through increasing understanding of the power of the gut microbiome and I provide solutions for implementing this understanding in day to day life.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
My business is designed to be delivered anywhere in the world. I just need to get the message out that I am here and that I can help. The more people that are empowered to respect and care for their own bodies, the more people that get to live happy lives. This funding would enable me to get the reach that I am aiming for and make a real difference in the lives of more people.
Please outline what you would spend the grant on:
I am an expert in the science. I am not an expert in sales and marketing, so I would use these funds to enlist support from professionals to help me formulate a marketing strategy for the next 1-2 years and develop some key advertising routes.
