Tell us about your business:

Arlo and Olive is an ethical 70's inspired fashion label dedicated to rewriting the narrative of the fashion industry. Fueled by a passion for sustainability, we prioritize ethical manufacturing, eco-friendly fabrics, and compostable packaging. Our mission extends beyond fashion, forging partnerships that contribute to the well-being of our planet and community, and educating consumers through our social platforms. We strive to serve conscious consumers who seek style with a purpose, offering a unique blend of 70’s charm and contemporary values.

How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?

A $10k grant would significantly amplify our business impact. By investing in stock, I would broaden our product range, attracting a wider customer base. Additionally, allocating funds to digital marketing, particularly through Meta and Google Ads, enhances our online visibility, driving sales and fostering sustainable growth. This would not only increase profitability but also extend our positive influence on conscious consumer choices in the fashion industry.

Please outline what you would spend the grant on:

The $10k grant would be strategically allocated to two key areas. Firstly, a substantial portion would be invested in expanding our product inventory, ensuring a diverse and appealing range for our customers. I am planning to expand a wide range of everyday basic replenishment items to really expand my customer base. Secondly, funds would be directed towards targeted digital marketing initiatives, specifically leveraging platforms like Meta and Google Ads. This allocation aims to maximize the impact of our brand, driving sales growth and really helping to scale the brand.
