Black Lash Makeup and The Lip Lab Perth provide busy women with quick and easy makeup solutions for every occasion. Since starting Black Lash 7 years ago, our aesthetic has always been about helping our clients look like the best versions of themselves. We provide hair and makeup services for events and Bridal as well as workshops and private lessons. With the addition of The Lip Lab in early 2023, we are now able to provide custom makeup solutions to help every woman look and feel her best easily! We also provide opportunities for creatives to work in a team, build their skillset and follow their passions.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
My dream for the new Lip Lab location is to build an exclusive service offering for clients so they can not only feel great for the special occasions in their lives but also in every day life with makeup knowledge and products that are tailored specifically to them. The grant would assist me with launching our new services and reaching our ideal audience through targeted advertising so that we can help more women feel amazing but also employ more creative specialists to look after them on their beauty journey. I want to build a community and a brand that celebrates collaboration.
Please outline what you would spend the grant on:
When we move into the new premises in 4 weeks I intend to add some new services. I would like to be able to offer regular work to my hairstylists and makeup artists and create full time positions within The Lip Lab. In order to do this I need to have an advertising spend for some targeted campaigns. I would like to work with a Brand Coach so that I can focus on building a community for both our clients and our team. Adding value for our clients and growing the team is my 12 - 18 month focus.
