Golden You Leadership is a business platform for youth empowerment.
We run 2 youth camps a year for teenagers 14 - 17 years. During our camps, my aim is to support, educate and inspire the teenagers to set their goals and aim high. We want them to know that there are so many opportunities available to them and to help develop strong leaders for the future. I have then been able to start this program based on not only a known gap in the market, but also on what drives me.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
The youth camps rely on sponsorships to be able to deliver them at no cost to the student. This model does not allow me to be able to grow my business, as all sponsorships are going directly to the running costs of the camps. The grant money would allow me to be able to invest in myself and the growth of GYL through HR support. Building a strategic plan on how we can grow from camps to year-round youth workshops & events and also, personal development. It would allow me to learn how to become stainable into the future, turning my passion into a successful business.
