After nearly a decade working on the frontline, seeing exactly what’s needed and where the gaps are, I setup The Manasa Foundation Ltd not-for-profit which exists to create reform in the treatment of mental health, trauma and addiction starting from the grassroots community level. We have a clear business model, filling in the current missing middle within the existing models of care, with a quality & innovative solution. The broad scope includes entire service delivery upheaval, staffing & policy restructuring and bringing world class research right here to Brisbane & accessible to benefit everyone.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
As an emerging foundation with an expansive vision, securing this grant is crucial for covering essential operational costs.
This support will allow us to concentrate on delivering value to the communities we serve, beginning with the launch of our inaugural Community of Care space.
With fundamental expenses managed, our focus will shift to being able to expand our Community Space operations including developing and implementing targeted individual and group programs. These initiatives are designed to foster connections, support recovery client journeys, and educate the community and stakeholders on our innovative approach to accessing healthcare services before we expand further.

The essential operational expenses covered by this grant (in either monetary capacity) will include items such as lease expenses at the Morningside Community Space and operational expenses such as a Xero subscription, some payroll, studio community group expenses such as Tea/Coffee & Snacks, printing of materials for community & stakeholder education resources, consultant expenses.
