In todays busy world, women in their 30s, juggle responsibilities and find themselves overwhelmed and neglecting self care. In a sea of beauty β€œtrends” and jargon, the industry can seem clinical, confusing and yet another stressful burden. Self care shouldnt be complicated. Inspired by the intrinsic connection between skin and mind, we deliver a deeper approach to well-being. Babotanics provides women a holistic and nurturing beauty experience through relaxation. Our products and methods use natural nourishing ingredients, essential nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins. My mission is to empower women to balance mindful practices with skincare routines, advocating for regular stress-relieving activities.

How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?

My goal is to purchase larger units of materials to enable wholesale opportunities. This grant would increase my purchasing budget significantly by 500%. Switching to raw materials would save on average 43% per unit, and 5x revenue. Additionally, I am expanding my offerings to the local area. Everton Park's demographic includes over 50% women, the majority in their 30s. Covering my rental costs for three months would give me grace to focus primarily on bringing signature self-care services to community. I can offer products at competitive rates, grow customer base, and prioritise retention and experience.

Please outline what you would spend the grant on:

I'd allocate $5700 for 3 months' rent, I will be new in the salon space and this will give me time to focus on marketing and engagement. $3200 to significantly replenish and repackage stock. The remaining $1100 would fund local marketing initiatives, letter box drops, fliers and signage, enhancing Babotanics brand visibility and attracting foot traffic. This financial advantage will narrow my focus to where its most needed, on community connection, engagement and marketing.
