Flora Luna is an authentic flower business based in Paterson NSW. Flora Luna’s vision and commitment is to support the local community with thoughtful and beautiful flowers. Every stem is designed with high attention to detail and extra love as we believe that flowers should be accessible & enjoyed by everyone and to suite all budgets. Our values are strong when it comes to supporting the environment. We keep our footprint low by not using plastic wrapping or rubber bands, we also have built strong relationships with local growers so that we can provide the best quality to our customers and to help educate our customers to support local.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
$10,000 would enable Flora Luna to expand its brand & services to work towards a new goal of supporting vulnerable woman with a purpose business model. This model will support vulnerable woman in the community and their families. We would do this by providing flowers for these woman to then learn and construct bouquets with Saralyn and Natalie - We would then as a collective sell these affordable bouquets to other likeminded businesses and customers in the area. Profit will allow the project to then host free flower workshops, fundraising events, offer employment & more (Long term goals) to woman experiencing hardship. To sustain longevity within the model the funds will also offer more exposure for the business and continue to impact vulnerable woman's lives in a very positive way, We'd love chance to create more opportunity for growth & successes within this model & project.
Please outline what you would spend the grant on:
We would spend the money on our flower account and on any additional materials needed for the woman ie: equipment, insurances ect.. Spending the most of the Spark Grant on fresh flowers will allow us to have the best possible chance to gain 100% profit from all sales over the next 6/12 months.
