Tell us about your business:
I help female entrepreneurs running service-based busineses get VisiBelle online and make more sales. Previously I was a business banker who worked with over 100 failing businesses and could see the same mistakes made but do nothing about it.
Currently, I offer branding, web design and marketing strategy but found most of my customers really struggle with marketing, systems and even business strategy so I usually end up coaching them on this as well.
Found the industry is full of cowboys so I want to be a safe space they can turn to and receive quality advice and get results.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
I aim to create an educational hub to help businesses become "visibelle" online and boost sales. This hub will provide step-by-step, detailed guidance on starting and scaling a business. It will be affordable, with payment plans, mentoring options, and website templates. Video courses and blogs will help more people and generate extra income. Currently, my capacity is limited. The grant will hire an offshore web developer to build websites quickly and affordably, allowing me to focus on customer strategy (+ quality control). This will increase profits by enabling more website builds at lower costs and support my further study to offer expert advice.
Please outline what you would spend the grant on:
$5k grant:
- Hire an offshore web developer ($15p/h x 40 hours x 2months) so I can focus on growing the hub and marketing services.
$10k grant:
- Hire web developer
- Breathing room to go off the tools to set up resource hub + marketing materials very quickly.
- Complete CXL marketing course ($2,259 for 12 specialised mini degrees on marketing / buyer psychology etc).
