At Sage Cosmetic Coaching we teach people how to make natural skincare. We (Polly & Lu) have over 25 years of experience in the natural cosmetics and natural health industries and we are passionate about sharing our knowledge. We're all about inspiring, encouraging, teaching and creating.
Our workshop guests span all ages, genders and socio-economic backgrounds. We take them on a journey full of delightful scents, nourishing ingredients, and a whole lot of skin loving.
Our workshops are jam-packed with information and at the end of each class, everyone takes home the most exquisite handmade skincare products.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
Right now, our business growth is limited by our human resource capacity. Polly is our key workshop facilitator and we can only offer workshops based on her availability. A Spark Grant would enable us to invest the time and money required to expand our team and put us in a position to offer more workshops and reach more people.
As a small business, we hate saying 'no' to profitable opportunities but with a boost in our capital, we could hire an additional team member. An extra person on our team would mean we could double the number of workshops we host.
Please outline what you would spend the grant on:
If we were to receive a Spark Grant the funds would be used directly towards recruitment and training costs. There is a significant amount of time and money involved in finding the right person for our team and once we have found the perfect candidate we need to thoroughly train them to be able to deliver wonderful workshops for our clients. The funding would allow us to offer paid training as part of the employment package.
