Tell us about your business:

Sacral Body Design is a high quality, safe body piercing studio that also serves as a safe supportive place for all that visits. My target market is primarily people aged 5-50 years old, but it extends much further than this bracket (my oldest piercing client was 92 years old!) The type of people who come to me are either, bright, creative, and groovy, or looking for more luxury high end 14k gold body jewellery (or both!)
I love my job because it brings me great delight to help people decorate and empower their bodies, in a safe and supportive environment. I love being able to provide a new level of piercing knowledge and care to our community, and want my studio to have a huge social media following and provide an experience people will travel from all over for! 😊

How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?

Lets talk behind the scenes-
Clean, sterile, safe= time.
I currently have an Autoclave that takes 30mins to sterilise, which means EVERYTHING needs to be cleaned, bagged, labelled, and stored sterile, this takes a huge chunk out of my day and week, leaving me with less time to-
Make more money with more clients
Develop more social media content
Keep developing my strategy to expand my business
All of which result in less cash flow!
It also means I need to have more stock on hand, which costs thousands!

Please outline what you would spend the grant on:

With the business grant, I would purchase a Statim Autoclave, which costs $6k-$10k. These are machines that sterilise medical instruments and jewellery in a short 6 minute cycle. This would emable me to store instruments and jewellery clean (very short process to organise), pick what I need for each appointment, and sterilise in 6 minutes while consulting, meaning I have much more time to spend making money!
