Tell us about your business. What products or services do you offer?: The GO TO company for 4WDriving in Australia. Helping others to maximize their off road experience by providing capability and confidence to use the 4WDrive safely anywhere across Australia or the world. Whether it is for work or play we have you covered.

What inspired you to start your business?: a love of adventure and the outdoors

How long have you been running your business?: 35 years Plus

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a woman in business, and how did you overcome it?: Feeling confident that I can run the business, and having a mentor and joining groups like this lets you see that if others can surly I can too.

What has been your proudest moment as a business owner?: Realizing I had been running the company with the help of 3 other girls for 10years (we were at that stage an all girl company ) in a mans world.

What strategies have helped you grow your business?: Using a Mentor

What tools or resources have been game-changers for your business?: Going online with classes, and changing the customer and learning data bases to a commercially based systems.

Can you share one key lesson you’ve learned about managing finances as a business owner?: You need to keep ontop of it weekly and monthly

How do you balance the demands of your business with your personal life?: With a Smile. You are your own boss don't let work rule your life.

What leadership qualities do you believe are essential for running a successful business?: Listening ability.

How do you motivate and manage your team?: We work as a family and it is important to be interested but not to butt in.

What role does mentorship or networking play in your business journey?: Its is extremely important and cuts the isolation of being a small business owner.

What trends do you think will shape your industry in the coming years?: Ai, the change to all electric, and the environment protections are going to change the horizon in which we work.

How do you stay ahead of the competition in your industry?: Research into coming trends is the only way

Who or what inspires you in your business journey?: Meeting other women who have been able to carve out a niche in any business.

What books, podcasts, or resources have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?: strange little books like MARY QUANT and the barefoot investor

What’s a fun fact about you that most people wouldn’t know?: I designed remote control 20 tonne mining loaders and packed frozen chickens as a young adult.

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about your business?: That we care about our customers.

Reflecting on your time in business, what is one piece of advice you would give to another woman to help her on her business journey?: Believe you CAN and YOU CAN. Keep at it.
