Celebrating the Most Important Woman in Business

Every year, on March 8th, the world comes together to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It's a day to honour the incredible women who have paved the way for progress and equality. And there are usually lists and comments and panels of all the inspirational women we look up to.

But this year, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone even more special: you.

You, my love, are a powerhouse. You are strong, resilient, and capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. You are a force to be reckoned with, and you deserve to be celebrated.

Read that again.

Think about all the challenges you've faced and overcome. Think about all the times you've pushed yourself out of your comfort zone and achieved something great. Think about the times when you've stood up for yourself and for others, even when it was hard.

You are your own hero, your own inspiration. You are the embodiment of strength and courage. You are a powerful woman, and you deserve to be celebrated.

So, this International Women's Day, I want to encourage you to take some time to celebrate yourself. Here are a few ideas you could weave into your day:

  1. Journal - acknowledge your achievements, big and small. Reflect on the past, list your gratitudes and DREAM BIG.

  2. Prioritise your mental health - go for a walk in nature, do some yoga, talk to your mum (or don't!!)

  3. Finish up early - I mean should we have planned to take the whole day off? Next year.

  4. Do something that brings you joy - what is it for you? Watch a comedy special on Netflix, go out for a fancy dinner, call your bestie.

  5. Give yourself a pay rise.

I am personally knocking off early and popping a bottle of bubbles. I'm going to sit in the afternoon sun and take some time to sit in silence and visualise my dreams. Dreaming big (over bubbles) is one of my favourite things to do.

So today, celebrate your journey and all the incredible things you have yet to achieve. Celebrate the fact that you are a powerful woman, and the world is a better place because of you.

Happy International Women's Day, to you, the most powerful woman we know.
