There are two numbers, not one.
Your Endgame Number
The invested wealth, outside your business, that makes working optional. It starts with the life you want, not the business you have. This is the number that lets you stop.
Your CEO Numbers
What your business needs to pay you to get there, and the revenue it takes. Not revenue for revenue's sake. This is the number that keeps you going.
Most people only ever calculate the second one. The calculator starts with the first, then works back to your business.
