Dr Bethany’s Tooth Tales is a unique, oral health education program empowering children to become champions of their oral health. As a dentist, teacher, and children’s entertainer, I’m perfectly positioned to promote fun and engaging learning through singing, games, and dancing in preschools. I’m on a mission to reduce the devastating rates (33% of Aussie children develop tooth decay before starting school) and impact decay has in children. Born from my desire to prevent decay developing instead of managing the consequences, I’m wholeheartedly passionate about dental education and genuinely feel I was put on this earth to make flossing cool.
How would $5k or $10k enable you to create more profit and impact in your business?
Childhood decay rates are highest in regional/remote locations, predisposing education as crucial. While my program impact potential is greatest here, physical access is logistically and financially challenging.
Digital programs will both have impact through promoting prevention and provide new income streams, through offering a low-cost option for centres unable to afford my person program and increase my audience, directly educating parents/educators. To maximize impact, free access to my digital program will be provided to an at-risk area kindergarten for each program sold.

$3,227 – Panasonic LUMIX S5 IIX + 20-60mm Lens Kit (investment in a 6K camera for longevity in futureproofing quality video content creation)
$279 – Compatible Samsung SSD drive
$670 – NEEWER green screen and stand, lighting equipment, camera monitor
$420 – RODE Lapel Microphone
$395 – Graphics and animation assets (Video editing is something I love to do and enjoy learning/developing my skills. Videos will be enhanced, and education messages supported by the production and inclusion of high quality, edutaining, child friendly animations)
